The story of Anjli’s bride Lehenga is pretty charming. Believe it or not, the dream suit was found hidden behind the counter in a small shop on Ealing Road. “It was only the smallest hint of pastels and antique threads, hidden inside a plastic bag,” she shared with Vogue. When stylist Krishan asked to take a closer look, the shopkeeper opened the bag, and they both knew they had hit the jackpot. The fabric was unsteady, so the clothing maker Vasilica Daineanu gave it a new twist and turned it into a completely adapted Lehenga who felt Anjli. She paired it with a vintage Crystal choker and necklace from Sokora jewels and picked out bracelets from her mom’s favorite accessory shop in Leicester and adds a sweet nostalgic touch.

Mixture of tradition and modern vibes

For the western ceremony, Anjli changed things with a romantic dress from her own studio that played with curtains and creases, almost like a modern nod to a saree. The look was topped with a floating crepe-Silk-Udde that caught the wind beautifully, even though it held her sister and maid on her toes! She accessories with some vintage 1950s diamond earrings borrowed from Piccadilly Vaults and Bar used Jimmy Choos, mix of style with durability.

Sacha’s appearance was equally thought provoking. He swung a custom nehru jacket by designer Saran Kohli as creatively mixed South Asian flower pressure with classic Lancashire controls, a cool way to merge two cultures. This jacket was hand embroidered over 60 hours in Delhi and contained unique details such as ancient rupee coin buttons from the 1930s and turned it into a real work of art. He collaborated with cream pants and a gold silk’s double cuff curtain for a modern yet traditional atmosphere. When it was time for the western ceremony, Sacha slid into an Italian dinner jacket by Oliver Brown, in combination with shoes he had worn out to Sag Awards and cufflinks borrowed from his dad and kept things personal and elegant, reported by the digital newspaper.
