‘It’s complicated but you find your own equation’
Sohit spoke to Nayandeep Rakshit and shared, “Look, these are things that you have no control over. When a marriage ends, families also go through some kind of change and adjustment. You may find your own independent equation after a while – there is a process, but it is complicated. “She added that she had always shared a warm relationship with Amrita. “For me, Amrita was someone who … I have lived in her house, she has taken care of me, she has taken me for photography, done so much – we have played scrabble together. And when that relationship ends, of course, you go through a moment of processing and transition,” said Soha.
‘There is a sense of settlement now’
The actor writer further stated that it took time for everyone to settle in the new normal after SAIF and Amrita’s separation. “First of all, you allow them to find their equation, and then you have to find your own equation within it. So I think it’s something we went through. And now I think there is a settlement – the kids are all adults up, and you can be yourself in a way,” ended soha. Saif and Amrita share two children – actors Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. Saif later married actress Kareena Kapoor 2012, and they are parents of Taimur and Jeh.
