Back 2022 when Rishab shetty Released Kantara neither he nor anyone associated with the film knew what gold mine they were sitting on. The film continued to put the cinema in the heart of Indian film and continued to coin RS 309.64 crore at the checkout. Of the total collection, Rs 84.77 came from the Hindi version and this was despite the film being released on Hindi two weeks after it released in the southern part of India. But for its sequel Kantara: A legend Chapter 1 decided to release the film the same day date all over the country and the result is there for everyone to see. The film in just 6 days has coined RS 290.25 crore, with Hindi version that contributes RS 93.25 crore. And with this, the Hindi collection of the sequel has passed the first part’s lifetime collection of RS 84.77 crore. The Hindi collection has been the film’s engine. On its opening day it collected RS 18.5 crore, on day 2 it saw a dip but collected RS 12.5 crore. On Saturday, the collections jumped to Rs 19.5 crore and on Sunday it coined RS 23 Crorer’s highest collection. Monday the movie saw a regular case but still collected RS 8.75 crore and on Tuesday the collections jumped again to collect RS 11 crore. With this is the total Hindi collection of the movie RS 93.25 crore. How Trends goes Kantara 2 will be able to cross Rs 100 Crore brand at Hindi at the end of its first week. Kantara 2’s Hindi driving has completely overshadowed the large Hindi edition of this week Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari who is entitled Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor. The film is struggling to cross Rs 40 Crore brand.Kantara 2s are intended to have a long run at checkout without any large edition stood up to Diwali which will see two editions in Thamma with the lead role Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna Together with Ek Deewane Ke Deewaniyat with Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa.
