He quoted an example of a three -game test series against Australia where no team crossed 300 and no three -digit batter. “I think that was the first time I’ve played an international series where a batsman has never scored a hundred in three games.”Chase defended his decision to survive first in Ahmedabad and said although the bowling of Indian players was very good, “the field has no demons in it.”
