Just a few days after Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan reportedly submitted a mood over AI-generated content, Youtube Have removed hundreds of videos with the Bollywood stars. The move comes after reports revealed that several channels were hosted to videos similar to those that the couple had challenged.
AI videos gathered according to Millions of Views
As reported by Reuters, these videos had collected about 16 million views before being removed. Bachhans had requested a ban on creating AI videos that violate their rights and urged Youtube to review its AI training policy. Despite a court decision last month to remove several links, similar AI-manipulated videos remained available.
Aishwarya Rai and Hedge Bachchan raises concern over AI education policy
The report further revealed, the celebrity couple emphasized problems with Youtube’s content and third-party AI education policy. They claim that these rules allow users to share videos to train other AI models, which increases the risk of misleading content online. Their legal applications reportedly say “using such content to train AI models can strengthen the spread of abusive material.”
Youtube confirms removal of popular AI channels
Youtube confirmed to remove a channel called ‘AI-Generated Bollywood-Kärlerd stories; who had 259 videos and 16.5 million views. Another account, ‘AI Bollywood Ishq’, is no longer active. While Youtube says it removes manipulated and misleading content, AI-generated videos showing celebrities in intimate or suggestive situations were still online.The most popular deleted video contained an AI animation of Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai in a pool, with 4.1 million views. Some videos similar to examples quoted in Abhishek Bachhan’s mood was still online, including clips showing AI versions of him who kissed a movie actress or Aishwarya who shared a meal with Salman Khan, who reportedly anger Abhishek Bachchan.
Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan seeks damage to AI abuse
The Bachchan pair is looking for $ 450,000 in damages from Google and other websites that offer unauthorized goods with their images. Their legal action aims to stop the spread of AI-generated videos that abuse their similarities and violate their rights.
