The Directorate of enforcement (Ed) On Wednesday (October 9), extensive attacks in 17 locations over Kerala and Tamil Nadu. This included the properties of Malayalam Superstars Dulquer SalmaanMammooty and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Yellow Salmaan refuses to comment on reporters
On Wednesday afternoon, Dulquer Salmaan arrived at Kochi in the middle of the ED attacks. Dressed relaxed in a blue shirt, jeans and a hat saw the actor at the airport fast past reporters who tried to question him about the ongoing investigation. In videos, to a large extent circulated online, Dulquer maintained his silence and avoided commitment, before entering his car and leaving the arena.This appearance came only one day after Dulquer reportedly received temporary exemption from the court in connection with the same case, which has been investigated since September.

Reportedly, the searches were part of an ongoing investigation of a luxury vehicle smuggling racket involving alleged illegal imports of advanced cars from Bhutan and possible violations according to the currency (FEMA).According to the NDTV reports, Ed also attacked housing and offices for actors Amit Chakkalackal and several car dealers, car repair shops and intermediaries in Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Malappuram and Coimbatore. The probe follows a customs department operation that previously discovered unauthorized exchange rate and fraudulent registration of imported vehicles.
Luxury cars and ongoing FEMA -Sund
According to reports, since the beginning of the probe, at least 40 luxury vehicles linked to prominent Malaya -Film personalities have been taken, including a Nissan patrol -Suv and a Land Rover defender registered under Dulquer’s name. A Land Rover belonging to Amit Chakkalackal was also confiscated in the midst of suspicion of direct connections with smugglers.Earlier in a chat with Manorama News, actor Amit Chackalakkal said that only one vehicle of his was under the radar during the raid and the rest of the 5 vehicles were in his garage for repair.
