After being granted protection by their personality and publicity rights, Bollywood actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have submitted separate moods in Supreme Court of Delhi Against Youtube and its parent company Google. According to court applications reported by Reuters, the star couple is looking for $ 450,000 (approximately Rs 4 crore) in damages, along with a permanent injunction to prevent Youtube from hosting or making money on all content that incorrectly represents them or abusing their voices, similarity and pictures of AI-generated deepfake videos.
AI training and abuse of content
The petitions also urge the court to lead Google to implement safeguard measures to prevent manipulated content from being used to train other platforms for artificial intelligence (AI). As reported by the agency, the actors said in their archiving on September 6: “Such content used to train AI models has the potential to multiply the instances of intrusion use -first uploads on Youtube and seen by the public and then also used for AI training.“
“Egregius” and “sexually explicitly” AI content
The atmosphere on 1500 pages is reportedly aimed at somewhat well -known sellers for unauthorized physical goods such as posters, coffee mugs and stickers with their photos and even false autographed images. The document also contains “hundreds of links and screenshots” by what is said to be Youtube videos showing “Oregious”, “sexually explicit” or “fictional” AI content.Reuters says in his report that they found videos of ‘Abhishek suddenly kissed a movie actress with AI manipulation’. Another video was an AI depiction of Aishwarya and her former co -star Salman Khan Seemingly enjoying a meal together while Abhishek Ångor is behind it. The videos have also reached other social media platforms. Those who are doing Bollywood columns will know about Aishwarya’s previous relationship with Salman, long before her marriage to Abhishek. The report also notes that a Youtube channel entitled “AI Bollywood Ishq” shares “AI-generated Bollywood-Kärlerd stories”. Its 259 videos have collected 16.5 million views, with the video by Salman and Aishwarya in a pool and shook 4.1 million views.
The court asks lawyers to answer
Delhi High Court, who heard the matter last month, led Google’s legal lawyer to submit written answers. The case is scheduled for the next negotiation on 15 January 2026.
