For the North India circuit, both films were in a locking jam because distributors of both films asked for maximum shows for themselves and barely left anything for the second movie that left all exhibitors in a lurch. In Kvandäret on the basis of its strong showcase in southern India, the edged sequel has zoomed forward with almost RS 20 crore advances with less than 24 hours to go to the show to roll. But for Sunny Sanskari for which booking has opened for more than 3600 shows, it has sold only 30,000 tickets that collect only RS 1.19 crore and by taking into account the Block that book the total collection jump to RS 2.33 crore. The maximum collection for the film with the ongoing trend that the film is expected to take a day 1 opening of approximately Rs 10 to Rs 12 Crore.
