India concludes their campaign at the BWF World Junior Mixed Team Championships with a bronze medal after losing to defend Indonesia in the semi -finals in Guwahati on Friday.The Indian team made history by winning their first medal in the team’s mixed event after defeating the former Korean champion on Thursday. However, they fell short on Indonesia’s pre-tournament favorites with a score of 35-45, 21-45. The winner of the semi -finals between Indonesia and India will face the 14 -time China or Japanese champion in the final.India made a change in their victory line from the Korean match, with Vishakha Toppo replacing Aya Bisht in the mixed doubles. Dasi begins with the doubles category of boys.India’s leading doubles team, Bhargav Ram Arigela and Viswa Tej Gobburu, gave a great start to defeating Muhmad Rizki Mubarrok of Indonesia and Raihan Daffa Pramono 9-5.In the women’s singles, Unnati Hooda managed to maintain 18-16 to Thalita Wiryawan in the first set.
