Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra not only exceeds the impressive RS 300 crore global milestone but has also made history in the Malayalam cinema. When it rides high in its seventh week of the release, the film’s success is undeniable. With an eye to the future, the producers have announced a sequel to Tovino Thomas and promise a captivating five series in the future.

Dulquer Salmaan produced and Dominic Arun Directed Lokah: Chapter 1- Chandra with the lead role Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen Just finished its sixth week at the checkout. The film throughout its drive to now has set the new Box Office posts for Malayalam Cinema. It has become the first Mollywood movie that crosses the RS 300 crore ground globally, it has also become the highest gross female management film from South India and the second highest gross female leading film of India. The film during its sixth week fell just below the RS 3 Crore brand when the total RS 2.97 crore over Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi language. And once again, it was the Malayalam version that led from the front when the RS 2.47 crore dedicated while the Tamil and Hindi versions added RS 38 Lakh and RS 12 Lakh respectively. The total collection of the film stands on RS 154.7 crore (Rs 181.15 crore gross). The trip for the film is far from over when Dulquer recently took to Twitter to share, “Lokah enters its 7th week. Thanks everyone”. The tweet corresponds to his previous tweet stating that he is in no hurry to release the movie on OTT at any time soon. Insiders suggests that the film will only be released after it has completed 8 weeks in cinemas. Lokah: Chapter 1- Chandra’is part of a 5-partly series and the 30th day of release announced Dulquer the second part of the film which will be led by Tovino Thomas in a double role. Dulquer will also make a como look in the film and it will again be directed by Dominic Arun. The manufacturers shared a teaser that announced the sequel where both stars are seen sitting on the floor and talking. Reports have suggested that Dulquer will lead the third part while the fourth part with the feature Mammooty And the fifth part will have all four together.
