A closer look at the total collection of the film reveals that the Hindi version of the film along with the Kannada version has been the largest contributor to the film’s overall collection. And by the end of the first week- both versions have entered the Rs 100 Crore Club. In Hindi, Kantara 2 has become the 92 movie in Rs 100 Crore Club. The movie on its first day earned RS 18.5 crore, day 2 was on Rs 12.5 crore, day 3 Rs 29.5 crore and day (Sunday) was Rs 23 crore. On Monday (day 5) the collection was RS 8.75 crore and on day 6 it was Rs 11.25 crore, on day 7 the collection was dipped to Rs 8.25 crore and day 8 was on Rs 7 crore. With this, the total Hindi collection of the film now stands on RS 108.85 crore while the Kannada version is on RS 106.6 Crore Telugu version has contributed RS 63.4 crore while the Tamil version has contributed RS 31.25 crore and rest has come from Malamy.
