Impppa warns manufacturers of unauthorized title use
According to Hindustan Times, Impppa wrote a letter to Sandeep Singh And his banner who says: “This is to inform you that we have received a complaint from our member, M/S Bhandmarks Entertainment, Mr Madhur Bhandmarks that your company uses its registered title” Chandni Bar “for a sequel entitled” Chandni Bar Returns “without getting it necessary.The association added, “Please note that the title” Chandni Bar “is a registered property for M/S Bhandmarks Entertainment. All use of this title, in any form or medium, without their previous written approval constitutes unauthorized use and can invite appropriate measures. Therefore, you are hereby recommended to stop using the said title in some format with immediate effect. “
The producer explains legal position on title rights
Following Bhandarkar’s complaint, Sandeep Singh clarified the situation.
