Anshula shared glimpses from the intimate celebration on social media, with his father Boney Kapoor, brother Arjun Kapoorand half -sisters Janhvi and Khushi KapoorEveryone joins to celebrate the happy occasion.In a chat with Hindustan Times Anshula opened the decision to host the ceremony at home. “Rohan and I always imagined that our Gor Dhana was a closely knitted celebration with the family. We wanted it to be cozy, hot, intimate, and we are glad it was exactly how it turned out to be,” she shared.
The bride-to be also talked about her father’s heartfelt desire when she told him to take the next step in her relationship. “When I first talked to dad and my siblings about knowing that Rohan and I were ready to take the next step in our relationship, Dad was the most excited and he said he only has one wish, that I marry at home. So keeping that wish in high consideration, I wanted our first ceremony to be kept home.Anshula honored Rohan’s Gujarati heritage, chose an outfit that reflected traditional elements. “Rohan is deeply linked to his roots, and it was important for me to honor it. My Lehenga reflected the impact with Bandhini, traditional Kutch embroidery and mirror woven into it,” she said, leaving that she had kept her a surprise to him. “Rohan didn’t want to know or see what I was wearing until the day and the look in his eyes when he first saw me meant everything and more.“Anshula also received emotionally telling about her late mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor, and how she found ways to feel her presence during the celebration. “Since the day Rohan suggested, I’ve been missing mom even more. The grief has resurrected so strongly, and I knew I needed her close to me. That’s why I had her words,” Rab Raakha “embroidered on the back of my outfit. More than ever, ”she expressed.
