Weekend collections are floating
Kantara chapter 1 collected RS 162.85 crore net in India during the first three days. On Saturday, it took about RS 55 crore, almost 20 percent higher than Friday’s RS 46 crore. The film’s momentum continued on Sunday, with a strong number directly from the morning show. According to Sacnilk, Kantara served chapter 1 Rs 61.00 crore on Sunday and took its initial weekend’s domestic to an impressive RS 223.25 crore.
The voter turnout of the audience remains phenomenal
The film has continued to draw huge crowds all over India and registered an impressive occupancy of 98-99 percent for the Kannada version’s afternoon and evening shows on Sunday in several parts of Karnataka. Abroad also performed edged chapter 1 strongly for a movie on its scale and collected over $ 4 million during the first three days.
Beats the latest big editions
On Sunday, Kantara chapter 1 surpassed the total collections in several recent major editions, including Sitaare Zameen pairs (Rs 167 crore), they call him og (Rs 179 crore) and Lokah chapter 1 (Rs 153 crore). Its largest performance, however, is to beat the domestic collection of KGF chapter 1 (Rs 185 crore), making it the third highly gross-kannada movie in India, behind only KGF chapter 2 (Rs 860 crore) and the original edging (RS 310 crore).
