Chasing 317, India A appeared for a comfortable finish before the late collapse tested their nerves. Murphy also threatened the 42nd hat-trick after rejecting Ayush Badoni and removing the ball in a row, but Arshdeep calmly defended the subsequent delivery to maintain India. Earlier, Arshdeep (3/38) and Harshit Rana (3/61) gave India an ideal start with the ball, reducing Australia A to 24 to three in six overs.
