Farhan Akhtar's mother's driver booked in £ 12 Lakh fuel fraud

A case was recorded against Farhan Akhtars mom, Honey IraniThe driver, Naresh Ramvinod Singh, by Bandra Police for alleged cheating. He is accused of using a card in Farhan Akhtar’s name to replenish the fuel tanks on honey Irani’s vehicle.As reported by the Free Press Journal, Mumbai police has arrested the driver for alleged cheating.

Honey Irani’s boss had submitted a complaint

According to Ians, on October 1, Honey Irani’s manager, Diya Bhatia, 36, submitted a complaint to the Bandra Police. She claimed that the driver and a petrol pump employee, Arun Amar Singh, together cheated around RS 12 Lakh.Investigations revealed serious deviations. The car used by Naresh had a 35-liter tank, but items showed that 62 liters of diesel was filled. He had also bought oil for a vehicle sold seven years ago.

The driver was reported to commit fraud

During the police interview, Naresh reportedly recognized the crime. He said that in 2022 he had taken the fuel cards from Farhan Akhtar’s former driver and had used them at the SV Road Bens Pump near Bandra Lake. He admitted to withdraw cash without refueling, in amount between Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,500 per transaction.

The police recorded criminal cases against the driver

Bandra -Police has registered a case according to Sections 316 (2) (criminal crime against trust), 318 (4) and 3 (5) of the Indian Penal Code. Naresh Singh has been arrested, while the petrol pump employee is also being investigated.

Farhan Akhtar is preparing to return to Acting with his upcoming movie ‘120 Bahadur’, where he plays Major Shaitan Singh Bhati. The film will be released on November 21, 2025.
