Kantara chapter 1 shows no signs of slowing down the cash register. The Rishab Shetty movie continued its strong performance on Saturday after a successful first two days. It has already become one of this year’s most penetrating Indian films, even before they completed their opening weekend.
Day -to -day revenue in India
Kantara chapter 1 had earned Rs 107 Crore Net in India on Friday, including a strong dozen opening of Rs 61.85 crore and RS 46 crore on Friday. The film kept its momentum on Saturday and adds RS 55 Crore Net, according to Sacnilk, giving its three-day domestic sum to Rs 162.85 crore.
Breaking Kannada Film Records
On Friday, the film became the highest grossing of this year’s Kannada edition and surpassed SU from So’s Lifetime collection by Rs 92 Crore Net. On Saturday, Kantara Chapter 1 continued its record -breaking driving and past the lifetime collections of Salman KhanS sikandar (Rs 110 crore) and Ramkaran‘S Game Changer (Rs 131 Crore). It also crossed the RS 150 Crore brand and became only the fourth Kannada movie to achieve this milestone.
Foreign success
Kantara Chapter 1 has also done well abroad and earned over $ 2.5 million (approximately RS 22 crore) in international markets during the first two days.
