Asbam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma confirmed that both Singapore and GMCH after the Mortem reports had been handed over to Garima Saikia Garg. “It’s up to Garima whether she makes the report after the Mortemet publicly or not,” he added.

A nine-members’ special survey team (SIT) of CID is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding Garg’s passing in Singapore. The ASSAM government has also set up a one-man legal commission to independently investigate the case.

In conjunction with the case, the festival organizer, Garg’s manager Siddharth Sharma and two band members, Shekhar Jyoti Goswami and Amritprabha Mahanta, have been arrested.
