Rishab shetty‘S Prequel to the 2022 hit Kantara is one of this year’s most awaited films. Kantara-Chapter 1 is set for a dozen edition and is not only one of the biggest Kannada films ever but also a large Pan-India festive edition. According to the latest update, the film has already crossed the RS 65 Crore brand.
Opening day office figures
According to early estimates in Sacnilk, the movie RS 60.00 crore collected on its first day at the checkout. At the same time, the mint RS managed 19-21 crore approximately in the Hindi language.
Hit other big hits
It has already beaten the opening day collections in several major hits this year, including Saiyaara (Rs 22 Crore), Sikandar (Rs 26 Crore) and Chhaava (Rs 31 crore). The film has also lost closer opening day in Rajinikanth’s Coolie (RS 65 crore).

With the support of Vijay Kiragandur and Chauvee Gowda under Hombbale Films Banner, Kantara: Chapter 1 is directed by Rishab Shetty, which also plays the lead role. Rishab had previously won the National Film Award for best actors for Kantara (2022), which also received the award for best popular film that provides healthy entertainment.
