Playfully banters keep the spark alive
Alia said that from the beginning, her relationship with Ranbir was more about friendship than the typical cinematic romance. “Ranbir and I have a natural friendship. So it was never dewy eyes or the rose toned kind of relationship. There was always a relationship of best friends,” she explained, leaving that what drew her to him was his nature. “I married him because he is wonderful to me and just like a human being.”The actress also described her playful equation, which often involves pulling each other’s legs. “100% the person I love to troll the most is him. And the person he loves to roll most I am. And I feel, it is a very natural dynamic between two people.”
Raha changed everything
Alia reflected on how things changed after their daughter Raha’s birth. According to her, the arrival of their little bonded into something deeper. “Our band has changed after we have had our daughter, it is completely different. We are a unit now. Goals more a unit than maybe before,” she said.
Why a private wedding felt right
The actress then revealed why the couple chose a private wedding in their own home instead of a large -scale celebration. “We are home bodies, very socially awkward. We just wanted the closest people in our lives with us. I didn’t want to take care of people in our wedding,” shared Alia.While several arenas are being considered, the couple eventually decided that home was the best choice. “We said we should go on vacation to these places instead. So we chose to get married at home and keep it super cold.”
