Chairman Mohsin Naqvi of the Cricket Council (ACC) on Wednesday said the Indian team was “welcomed” to collect the Asian Cup trophy at the Continental Headquarters, as a controversy over the top prize. In a post in X, Naqvi rejected a report claiming that he, during the ACC ACC on Tuesday, apologized to Bcci Officials for his actions at the show on Sunday, as he walked with the trophy after the Indians refused to accept it.Naqvi, who is also the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Minister of Home, with the anti-India political stance, said: “As the ACC president, I am ready to hand over the trophy that day and I am still ready now. If they really want it, they are welcome to come to the ACC office and collect it from me. “He added: “Let me make it true -Light: I didn’t do anything wrong and I never apologized to BCCI and I wouldn’t do it.”

Naqvi reportedly told BCCI officials that he was willing to give the Indian trophy, but no decision made at the AGM, continued to disappoint BCCI’s leadership.
